A year ago when I dreamed up this conference I had no idea it would change the lives of so many in such a powerful way. Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of this event and this movement to build community within the floral industry. In order to achieve success we truly need the support, guidance and friendship of our flower friends. It is these friends that know and understand the struggles we face and the challenges that come with being a florist in the wedding industry. This conference brings these friends together in a way that has never been done before.
Join us in February 2017 for this business changing and life changing floral conference. Tickets available at www.theintriguedexperience.com

As I type this post I am snowed in with well over a foot of snow, but, my mind has shifted to this stunning late fall wedding at Harrington On The Bay. The bride was incredibly creative and had lots of fun ideas and really allowed me to get creative. There were so many fun elements in this wedding including over 100 pumpkins. Out of all the weddings we have designed this may have been the most challenging because of the sheer weight and awkwardness of handling all of the pumpkins. It was worth all the effort for this beautiful finished design. I am grateful to have bride’s like Lisa in my life.

Working with Meghan and her mom was so much fun. This pair are natural planners and I can only imagine how fabulous parties are at their home. The mother daughter team brought a series of items to our studio to have incorporated into the wedding design. Each item from the handmade napkins (created by a close family member) to the adorable signage and even the picket fence incorporated into the sweetheart table was purchased by the bride and her mom. In fact they were so amazing together I wouldn’t be surprised if we see these two pop up as a planning team in the Annapolis area. They certainly would be a force to be reckoned with.
Details were hidden all over the place. Once of the playful little details that made such a difference was the finish on the boutonnieres. This detail that so many may have missed was part of the grand design and added a finishing touch to the gentlemen’s attire.

As an Annapolis Florist I spend a lot of time on the Eastern Shore and truly love Eastern Shore Weddings. An Eastern Shore Wedding offers the luxury of feeling like a destination while the convenience of being so close to home.
This blog may not have happened at all if it were not for the consistent encouragement and occasional prodding by Natalie Franke and Krista Jones. Each time we gathered there seemed to be a gentle reminder that Intrigue was in need of a blog to showcase all of our work. After months… Okay, maybe years of hearing this encouragement this page was born. Naturally, my very first e-mail went to these two ladies just moments after publishing my first post.
This particular event was a dream to design for. Natalie and Krista teach a wonderful photography workshop called the Bayside Workshop. The details are devine and the styling by Kruse & Vieria is spectacular.
Flowers are my passion and weddings are my medium. I am so fortunate to share this passion with the world with incredible blooms such as Ranunculus, Anemone, Tulips, English Garden Roses, Sweet Pea and Poppies. As an Annapolis florist I spend a lot of time on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and weddings with styles like this are a dream to design.

Being involved in photography workshops is such an honor. During these workshops we are able to inspiring budding photographers as well as seasoned photographers looking to fine tune their craft with layers of beautiful flowers and decadent blooms. For this shoot we drove all the way to New England to meet up with our friends Justin and Mary to design these beauties for their “Walk though a wedding” workshop. It was fun for this Annapolis florist to see a photography workshop in action all the way up in Connecticut. It was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to do it again!
