Being involved in photography workshops is such an honor. During these workshops we are able to inspiring budding photographers as well as seasoned photographers looking to fine tune their craft with layers of beautiful flowers and decadent blooms. For this shoot we drove all the way to New England to meet up with our friends Justin and Mary to design these beauties for their “Walk though a wedding” workshop. It was fun for this Annapolis florist to see a photography workshop in action all the way up in Connecticut. It was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to do it again!

For the last couple years I have discussed adding a blog to showcase the stunning floral work that we create. However, in the busy hustle and bustle of life as a wedding florist this task fell by the wayside. Today, after a long day of chatting with excited brides planning 2016 weddings I realized I was sending them to other blogs and feeds for inspiration when I have a virtual treasure trove of inspiring floral work all locked up in neat little folders in dropbox. With this realization I made the decision to make the blog happen.
Expect to see posts loaded with visual inspiration and lots of flowers. I anticipate my formatting to be generic and my fonts to be bland, but, the incredible quality of the images and the design work will surely make-up for my juvenile blogging skills.
So here we go with my very first post!
A Black Tie Affair at Strong Mansion – As Featured in Style Me Pretty
There are a few shoots in my career that have truly taken my breath away and this shoot is one of them. Designed by up and coming wedding planner Claire Duran this shoot has everything needed for a spectacular high end wedding feature. I am so happy that I said “yes” and was part of this incredible collaboration with a few of the Mid-Atlantic’s finest. Featured on Style Me Pretty in early September 2015.
